This house was completely transformed. We took down walls, built a brand new kitchen, repainted, changed all hardware and lighting, furnished and styled. When I saw this house I knew exactly what I wanted to do to it right down to the floorplan. The homeowner was optimistic and knew they would love it. They fell in love all over again when I gave them back their dream home. With their own eclectic style and incredible collection of art and little touches of their heritage it tells a beautiful and empowering story.

Styling was all in the details, references to what’s important in the artwork and objects tell a story of a strong independent woman who is proud of where she came from. We had so much fun doing this house and seeing how proud the homeowner was to share it with her world.

The original kitchen was a closed off eight by six foot rectangle with a single entrance and no light. We opened it up, moved plumbing, and utilized all the surrounding square footage to give it new life and new energy. The kitchen is no longer a dead end, instead the pulse of the home.
