nice to meet you

I’m Ijmal Haider. In our business it’s so important that we think of longevity and how clients live in their homes and what their lifestyles look like. I used to write a blog called the psychology of design and Haider Design Group came to be from that premise and from my interests in design, sociology, the human mind. In University most of my courses were divided between those two interests, and one class that really got me thinking was a course I took on the Architecture behind the Olympics and how many of those buildings struggled to find proper after uses and caused a lot of debt for cities post olympics.

From that point I started to focus my studies and my thoughts around the mindfulness and the collaboration that takes place in the construction and design industry. I found like-minded people to work with and as a collective we make sure to always consider concept but how the client lives and works through that space. Does it fit their wants and needs? Do their families travel through the space efficiently and effectively? Are we checking all their boxes?

Through the almost 20 years I have in this industry I have made it my goal to build a business focused on collaboration with a team and with our clients. Welcome to Haider Design Group, we can take you from land to turn key, we are excited to make your space feel like you.
